1. How much are the initial start up fees and monthly royalty costs?

We have nominal startup fees for our Franchise and POS software. We charge monthly royalty fees, which are based on your sales volume.

2. Do I need to have experience in the gaming industry?

It is not necessary to have experience in the gaming industry. However, it would be ideal if you have managed or owned a retail business. Video games practically sell themselves and since we’ll be making recommendations as to what games you should be carrying, you won’t have to become an industry expert.

3. Does Proximo Games offer financing options?

We work with several large international financial institutions which can offer financing for the qualified candidate at competitive rates for store build-out and inventory purchases from our suppliers. We can provide you references for your local banks or lending institutions.

4. Will I receive assistance in selecting a location for my store?

Yes. Proximo Games has been in the retail industry for nearly 20 years and we will use that knowledge to help you select an optimal location. We also want to make sure you’re at an ideal location for clients that will be serviced.

5. What kind of software do I use? How do track my Sales and Inventory?

One of the benefits of becoming a Proximo Games franchise is that you will have our proprietary Point of Sales (POS) system. Our POS system will allow invoicing of your customers, providing daily, weekly and monthly sales numbers, keep you informed of inventory availability and much more. In addition, it will allow you to access the multi-million dollar inventory at our main supplier’s warehouses.

6. What kind of marketing support will I receive?

We provide the posters, standees and other promotional items to help sell products. Our stores will have templates for in-store promotions. Depending on the size of your market, we will have regional or countrywide promotions. All our locations will be promoted on our website, www.proximogames.com.

7. What other products does Proximo Games offer?

There are many complimentary products and services that we offer in our stores. They may include extended warranty, game disc scratch removal and console repair. As the industry matures and it requirements changes, we will offer new products and services to fit the need of our customers.

8. Can I sell other items in my store?

All products sold in our locations are pre-approved by Proximo Games. We can provide you with other complimentary merchandise, such as game themed candies, toys and wall scrolls to carry in your stores. We have been in the industry for nearly two decades and know which merchandise will sell and which merchandise is most appropriate in the store.
