A meeting point for virtual soccer fans
The Second Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 Championship took place this Friday (02/05) at Proximo Games in Curitiba, and is becoming one of the main venues for virtual soccer fans in the city. The champion title and the prize of R$ 500 were got by the young man, Carlos Eduardo Rosar, 17 years old.
"It was the first time I came to Proximo Games and I liked very much what I saw, but certainly the best thing is the games rooms," said Carlos Eduardo referring to the exclusive Samsung Gaming Zones equipped with Full TV HD 52 " , surround sound system and ergonomic seats, providing a whole new gaming experience to customers.
Carlos Eduardo became champion beating Andre Constantino in the final game scoring 3 to 1. "I have participated in championships since I was 13, but this was special," said Carlos Eduardo, who placed fifth overall in the last National Virtual Soccer Championship, which last year brought together 128 players from around the country in an event held in Brasilia/DF.
The second edition of the PES 2010 Proximo Games Championships, held on PlayStation 3 platform, gave to the winner R$ 500 in gift certificates, R$ 200 for the second and $ R100 for third place. The third place in this edition was Denis de Assis.
"The unique structure in the city provides Proximo Games’ customers a perfect place to conduct championships like this one. We hope to make a point here, not only for virtual soccer fans, but also for other genres that have a large popular taste, "said Thiago Borges, commercial manager of Proximo Games.
